Saturday, May 18, 2019, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Celebrate Lexington's official "birthday" with a full calendar of activities for the whole family to commemorate the city's founding in 1775 at McConnell Springs. Free event! Rain or shine. 

Colonial Crafts, Demonstrations of Frontier Life at the Log Cabin, Hands-On Activities, Live Traditional Music all day!

Food available, period reproductions for purchase from vendors demonstrating their skills. Storytellers, animals, and more!

2019 Barrel Tasting Brochure

Join us for the 13th annual “Wine Barrel Tasting for the Springs” (2020 date to be announced). Participants will travel on their own to 13 different wineries to sample wine that is ready for bottling. They may have the opportunity to meet the winemakers and discuss their favorite subject. Fee: $20. Proceeds benefit McConnell Springs, the site of the naming of Lexington in 1775.
