The largest use of artillery during the Civil War occurred during the 3 day battle at Gettysburg. Bob Bell will discuss similarities and differences between the Union and Confederate artillery over the course of the battle. Topics covered will be on the number and types of cannon used, projectiles and fuses, and the artillery organization of both sides.
